An Indian man was recently killed after an object fell from the sky and caused a large explosion—leading some to believe that a meteorite was responsible.
A district spokesperson in Vellore told CNN that the object landed near Bharathidasan Engineering College. A 40-year-old man named Kamaraj was killed during the incident. Kamaraj was a bus driver for the the campus. At least three other people were injured during the explosion but their current conditions are unknown.
Many people took to social media to post videos and pictures of the debris. Scientists are now working to determine if the object was a meteorite. If so, the victim will have been the first man killed by a meteorite since 1825.

A man in Russia, angry about his poor cell phone reception at the sauna he was visiting, decided to take his rage out on one of the sauna employees. He beat her until police arrived, and will likely be prosecuted for causing bodily harm to the woman, who is currently on sick leave due to her injuries.
