A 22-year-old motorcyclist did his best Evil Knievel impression Wednesday evening when he led police officers on a high-speed chase for about an hour, through two Southern California counties. Phillip Resendez of Rancho Cucamunga was persued for reckless driving into Los Angeles County as he led officers on a chase, going more than 100 MPH, standing on his motorcycle, running red lights and at one point when he got away from officers, he pulled into a cul-de-sac to take his helmet off and put earbuds in.
