On Oct. 22, the capital of Canada, Ottawa, became a victim of a lone-wolf terrorist attack. Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, a War Memorial guard, was killed in the attack. The suspect then stormed the parliament building, looking for more victims. Sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers shot and killed the suspect. A Kurdish wedding was off to a great start when an AK-47 went off in the middle of a dance. The gun's bullets hit a man who was dancing near the gunman. A goose in the United Kingdom shutdown local traffic, so the Wildlife Aid Foundation jumped into action. The rescue team used a net to capture the goose. The highway patrol did not want a car to hit the animal, so they brought traffic to a stop.
