For the 12th year in a row, the Harley-Davidson Midnight Run to Ground Zero commenced on the eve of the anniversary of America's 9/11 terrorist attacks. Riders started gathering at the NYC Harley-Davidson in Long Island City (Queens) around 9:30 p.m. and the ride started around 11 p.m. Riders rode onto the Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan and along Second Avenue, where this video was taken from above the route. Police in Ocala, Florida were hot on the trail of some carjackers when the suspects ran out of the stolen vehicles. Officer Jay Pittman pursued the suspects, who were on foot, with his patrol car.
