A police officer's recently-released lapel camera footage has intensified debates about the use of excessive force by local authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In April, the officer pulled over a University of New Mexico law student for a suspected DWI violation. After Jeremy Martin ignored the officer's request for him to sit down several times, the cop kneed the 24-year-old in the groin.
