Stephen Simmons is an Iraq War veteran who had a tough time getting back to civilian life. Simmons suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and eventually got a service dog, Puppi, to help him readjust. After a while, he adopted a cat, and both of the animals, along with nature, have truly cured Simmons from his issues. He has actually written about a book about the pets, called The Adventures of Puppi & Burma.
