Cats are notorious for getting themselves up a tree, and then getting stuck. This cat, later named Frangelica, was found 12 feet up a tree, in freezing cold temperatures. Luckily for her and her future owner, the Humane Society's Tree House rescue team got her down from the tree and into some warmer, and friendlier, conditions. View Now
This is quite the unusual animal rescue. The Humane Society of the United States relocated gopher tortoises in Jacksonville, Florida from their original homes to avoid certain doom.
