A Wake County detention officer got into a physical alteration with an inmate that has caused a lot of controversy. During the altercation, the officer slammed the inmate to the ground two separate times. Thirteen days later, the inmate was pronounced dead, with the cause being cited as "blunt force trauma to head and neck." The officer has since pled guilty and will be spending 90 days in jail. This is a beautiful video and a beautiful story. Zina Nicole Lahr was a very unique woman and an incredibly talented artist who always saw the possibility in everything. She asked her friend Stormy Pyeatte to help her film a portfolio of her work. Sadly, Zina died in a hiking accident in Ouray, Colorado about four months after this video was shot. If you're trying to tell the world about your problems, a church roof is probably not the best place to do it. A 23-year-old woman in Huntingdon, England recently learned that the hard way. As she stood barefoot on the roof of the St. Mary's Church, some 70 feet high, the masonry below her gave way and she fell.
