A 15-year veteran of the Kansas City Police Department is out of a gig, following a scuffle with a carjacker. Carl Counti admitted to beating the suspect while he was handcuffed. The suspect elbowed the cop in the face and he lost it and beat up the perp. The officer was sentenced to two years behind bars pending two years probation and will spend 30 days in jail for third-degree assault. He can no longer work in law enforcement.
