An active shooting is taking place at the Navy Yard in Washington D.C. At least 10 people were injured, including one D.C. police officer. The suspect was on the loose and believed to be barricaded in the Naval Sea Systems Command HQ. There are reports of possibly three shooters, two still on the loose.
Thirteen people have been killed. The motive and number of shooters are still unclear. Authorities have identified the deceased shooter as Aaron Alexis, 34, a former civilian contractor with the Navy.
