This two-parter is all about big jumps. The first, from Water and Light shows a bodyboarder hit a giant wave in Newport Beach, California. So big in fact, he had to bail at the last minute in order to save himself. Then, this poor girl at the Soundwave festival in Australia jumped over a fence and she probably regretted her decision immediately. This results in her giving herself an atomic wedgie. Ouch. A pink limo smashed through a metal gate, drove erratically through a parking lot, and crashed in a soccer field in Lancashire, UK. But this was not malicious destruction of property, the limo's brakes were out. The quick thinking of the driver probably saved lives by avoiding pedestrians. View Now
The smell of smoke and sounds of sirens filled the streets of this East Providence, Rhode Island neighborhood. A fire on the first floor of this house quickly moved to the third. Three firefighters were trapped on the third floor while searching for occupants. Unable to go out the way they came in, the rescuers climbed out through a window and onto a waiting ladder. When you're backcountry skiing, the thought of an avalanche occurring probably never leaves your mind. These skiers had to deal with just that on a mountain in Greece. Everything was going smoothly for the skier we're following, until he looked back and saw a wave of snow hurdling down the mountain. The skier quickly grabbed a tree band and held on for dear life. A 23-year-old soldier from the United States who has not been identified was shot in the shoulder by South Korean police during a late-night car chase. Police received reports that soldiers were allegedly threatening civilians with an air gun. The soldier is seen in this video driving through officers as they fire warning shots.
