Two people were shot and one wounded after at least one suspect opened fire at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. The college is currently on lockdown amid reports the gunman may still be on campus. According to KHOU, the shooter was among the three people wounded at the incident, which occured after an argument in the school's library. 14-year-old James Persyn from Shepherd, Michigan, saved the lives of his younger siblings and a complete stranger in a heroic act of bravery. While watching his siblings so his father could run an errand, a frantic young woman started screaming and knocking on their door. Covered in bruises, the woman had just escaped the wrath of an ex-con, who raped and beat her mercilessly. After letting her in, the suspect, 30-year-old Eric Ramsey, approached the home and set it on fire before leaving. Police chased down Ramsey, who was killed in a shootout. View Now
