Michael Phelps broke the Olympic medals record Tuesday as the U.S. took the 4X200 meter freestyle relay at the London Games. With 19 career medals spanning three Olympics, Phelps moved ahead of Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina who won in 1956, 1960 and 1964. The Olympian now has 15 gold metals, two silver and two bronze. Fortville, Indiana police officer Matthew Fox is recovering in the hospital after a routine traffic stop turned into a violent high speed chase. The driver, 27-year-old James Lockhart, was pulled over for a busted tail light when Fox asked him to put his hands out the window. Reports say that's when Lockhart floored the gas pedal and the high speed chase began. In the middle of the chase, Lockhart stopped his car and got our to fire about 12 shots in 16 seconds, directly at Fox. You can hear Fox cry for help in this video. View Now
