Firefighters in downtown St. Louis are battling this massive fire at an abandoned building that may have started with an explosion. Here you can see the flames and heavy smoke. The fire started just after 11 a-m this morning. At one point, firefighters were forced to evacuate the building. So far, no injuries have been reported. View Now

Two people are dead after a gunman once again opened fire on the Virginia Tech campus. The school was put on lockdown Thursday after one of its police officers was killed. Officials say the officer pulled someone over for a routine traffic stop and was shot at close range. The suspect is still on the loose. A second victim was also fatally shot at a campus parking lot. The school has postponed finals until further notice. Virginia Tech was the scene of another tragedy in April 2007 when a gunman shot and killed 33 students. View Now
