There's a rather infamous bridge in North Carolina that numerous vehicles have crashed into over the years. Time and time again, truck drivers have tried passing underneath the 11'8" bridge, but have smashed into it instead because they were unable to clear it. Construction on the bridge has recently raised it 8 inches higher. Hopefully that will be enough to prevent accidents from happening there in the future, but only time will tell. View Now
