Leonid Shchepel overheard horrifying screams in a nearby park. He had his phone ready as he went to investigate, only to find 88-year-old Klara Shalomovna on the ground being attacked by a man. A bear found itself trapped after wandering into a minivan parked outside of a house in Asheville, North Carolina. Once owner Nicole Lissenden realized there was a large black bear in their van, it was too late. The automatic doors were damaged and wouldn't open, and each attempt to open the door manually failed. They contacted Animal Services, but before they could arrive to get the bear out safely, it decided a better way to escape would just be to bust through the window.
