Four-year-old Maya was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was just a baby. Growing up, she learned to walk with the assistance of a walker, but on May 9th, she underwent a spinal surgery that would give her the chance to walk on her own. Doctors predicted it could take six months to a year for Maya to be able to walk on her own, but Maya proved them wrong. With the help of physical therapy, she took her first steps after just seven weeks! A man driving along a highway in Fairfield, California spotted another driver undoubtedly swerving in and out of lanes. Assuming the person behind the wheel was heavily intoxicated, he safely passed and dialed 9-1-1. Right after he gives the dispatcher a description of the vehicle, that very same driver rear-ends him and takes off. We're told the driver was arrested.
