A 61-year-old pilot and his 55-year-old passenger had taken off in a single engine plane from Clearwater Airpark headed to Zephyrhills Municipal Airport in Florida to fuel up. However, they soon realized they wouldn't be able to make it back to Clearwater Airport and looked for a safe place to land.
