When you think about the process of coming out, you may think of when someone discloses their sexual orientation or gender identity. However, coming out is not limited to just that. Take Conchita Hernandez for example. Conchita has long struggled with being legally blind and how that affects her entire life. For years, Conchita would act like she was fine and would downplay her blindness, but she learned with training how to go from passive to taking control of her life. She's finally come out as a blind person.
