How do you get an ox out of a pool when you don't have Paul Bunyan around? You have to call firefighters! An ox had fallen into a farmer's pool in Brazil and was in danger of drowning. The farmer called the fire department, who had to put their heads together to figure out the best and safest way to rescue the one-ton animal. Using wooden boards and ropes, they got the ox to the shallow side of the pool and it was able to get out on its own.
Now let's move on from an ox rescue to a cow rescue! A momma cow had fallen into a pond in Thailand and couldn't get out on her own. So a large group of locals banded together to help push the big momma out of the water. It took a lot of effort, but at least the cow didn't fight back. She knew they were there to help her. Eventually, they were able to push her onto dry land.
