A high-voltage cable in Ukraine was damaged during construction, which spelled trouble once it began to rain. The damaged cable started sparking, then the inevitable happened: BOOM! The cable exploded and caused an outage in the area, but luckily no one was injured.
Next, there was a much more controlled explosion over in Belarus. Construction workers had started building a new bridge in this area, so it was time to demolish the old one! The workers detonated a bunch of explosives placed strategically along the old bridge to bring it crumbling to the ground.
