Next, it was an intense and scary situation in Russia when a father and son fell into a frozen lake while out on a hike. They struggled in the water for a whole 17 minutes before they could get out, and once they did, they had to walk 2 hours to a nearby village for help. That's a long time to spend soaking head to toe in freezing conditions, but somehow, miraculously, they didn't suffer any illnesses from the ordeal.
