In case you missed it, people on the internet are discussing whether or not you can actually cook meat just by slapping it. Obviously, we're talking a lot of slaps, but who knows — creating thermal energy through slaps may just be the unconventional cooking method you've been looking for! Louis Weisz is testing the theory so that we don't have to, and thanks to his trusty meat slapping device, things are heating up. In the end, it turns out you technically can cook meat by slapping it, although steak seems to be a little easier to cook this way than chicken.
Louis' experiment has gone wildly viral, and even caught the eye (and commentary) of professional chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay. We don't see ourselves slapping our dinner anytime soon, but it sure did make for a fascinating watch!
