A car chase in Los Angeles Friday morning ended with the suspect on the ground, literally laying low in an attempt to evade police. FOX 11 Los Angeles captured video of the driver of suspected stolen vehicle leading LAPD off the freeway and into a neighborhood. After two collisions, the second of which occurred in a busy intersection, the suspect fled on foot in search of a place to hide. Perhaps he sensed the police closing in and thought his best chance was to assume a low profile because he laid behind a car. It worked, but only for a little bit. There were eyes in the sky, after all.
