Ten criminals all try to shoot a businessman at the same time — it looks like a scene from an action movie, but this actually happened in Brazil. Gang members piled out of three cars to surround a man they were targeting's car, shooting him in the back and preventing an easy escape. Luckily, he was able to get to the hospital for some treatment. The same could not be said for one of the thieves, dying from friendly fire.

Another shocking incident in China also had a driver unable to escape. An 11-year-old boy grabbed the keys to his family's vehicle and went on a joyride. When questioned by the police who stopped him, he claimed he had "too much homework" to do. The cops pulled him from the car and brought him back home.

Police have since arrested 29-year-old Garrett Boldt for attempted murder, ABC News reports. Surveillance video also shows Boldt trying to scare and startle a woman just before pushing the man. '90s JCC Center Shooting Survivor Shares Her Story

With mass shootings more and more in the news, it's important to never forget the victims and survivors' stories. Mindy Finkelstein Rieger is a survivor of the Los Angeles Jewish Community Center shooting in 1999. While working as a camp counselor, the 16-year-old was rejoining her 5-year-old and 6-year-old campers after a game of capture the flag. Suddenly, white supremacist Buford O. Furrow, Jr. walked up, shooting 70 rounds of ammunition into Rieger and four others, including three little boys. Life for them has never been the same, and Mindy still feels the effects in her everyday life after being shot in the thigh and shin. She still has shrapnel in her body, and she tends to have a panic attack after every new mass shooting occurs. Still, Mindy says she knows she was in the right place at the right time protecting her little kids. The gunman was the one in the wrong place, she says. via BuzzFeed View Now
