When passengers of Delta flight 2255 were informed that they were bringing home a fallen soldier on their plane, many became very emotional. As one passenger recalls, "...everyone was silent, no one got up." The entire flight watched as the solider was honored with a water cannon salute, which left water running down the plane's windows, "glistening like tears."
