An unsuspecting delivery man in northern China was going about his business when suddenly, a large chunk of ice broke off of an eight-story building and hit him. He was knocked to the ground and onlookers immediately rushed to his aid, moving him out of the way of the building and calling emergency services. The man suffered fractures to his neck but was not in a life-threatening condition.
Over in Indonesia, a scheduled demolition went very awry. A pillar on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail didn't fall in the direction that it was intended and crushed one of the construction vehicles below it. Luckily, nobody was injured. According to investigators, contractors negligent in their work caused the accident.
