The folks at Gates Wildlife Control have been called to relocate an animal that's burrowed its way into a stove vent. At first, they thought it was most likely birds, but after removing some nesting material, out popped a mother squirrel! She and her precious babies had been living inside the vent, but thanks to the expert rescuers, are now in a safer place.
Speaking of animals in places they don't belong, employees of a canal construction company in Germany came across a raccoon down inside a shaft. They called the fire department to relocate the animal, and after a few gentle scoops with an improvised tool, the raccoon was on its way!
