At least 80 people are dead and another 178 injured after an express train derailed and then split apart in northwest Spain on Wednesday evening, according to CNN. This video, captured by a distraught Isidoro Castaño, shows the immediate aftermath of the horrific crash. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash, but there has been speculation that the train was traveling too fast it as it hurtled around a curve.

A man who plowed through Venice Beach's crowded boardwalk Saturday evening, killing one and injuring 11 more, has been arrested and identified as 38-year-old Nathan Louis Campbell. The woman killed was identified as Alice Gruppioni, 32, of Italy. Gruppioni had been married just three days when she was struck and killed while walking the boardwalk with her newlywed husband- the pair were on their honeymoon. "There were people flying, laying on the ground, tents flying everywhere. If he wanted to kill people, he came on a perfect time, 5 p.m. on a Saturday in the summer in Venice Beach," a witness told CNN. Campbell turned himself in a few hours after the crash, and was arrested and booked on murder charges in connection with the incident. View Now

19 Firefighters Killed Battling Northern Arizona Yarnell Hill Wildfire

They were doing a heroic job, and they paid the ultimate sacrifice- 19 Arizona fighters have died fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire, the deadliest wildfire involving firefighters in the U.S. in at least three decades. The 19 men killed in the blaze were with the Granite Mountain Hotshot crew out of Prescott - an elite team established in 2002 with experience fighting major fires in Arizona and New Mexico. The fast-moving fire had grown to over 8,300 acres Monday morning, according to Incident Commander Mike Reichling. Reichling said of the 500 structures in Yarnell, including homes, businesses and sheds, half of them have been destroyed in the fire. The wildfire is 0 percent contained.
