Only hours after his 3-year-old Rottweiler, Max, was shot and killed by Hawthrone, California police, Leon Rosby stood near the blood spattered sidewalk and described the last moments of his dog's life. Max was shot four times and died in the street in front of Rosby and many other bystanders. Rosby, who was taken into custody for allegedly causing a disturbance at a crime scene on Sunday night, spent the night in jail on suspicion of obstruction and was released Monday morning. In the interview, Rosby says officers wouldn't give him the dog's body back so he can bury him.
