Even with cameras nearly everywhere, we still can't believe that people attempt to get away with crimes. In Indonesia, CCTV captured a man climbing over a fence of a residential home and bird-napping a White-Rumped Shama. The bird is worth $2,800 and there's no word on whether or not the bird was found.
Technology does have its benefits against thieves, though. While a man was out on a walk with his dog, his Ring Floodlight Cam alerted him of an intruder in his backyard. As the intruder walked to the shed, the homeowner shouted at him through the device to leave and he complied. In a shocking turn of events, the foolhardy thief returned, only to be caught again.
