It's easy to get lost in the moment when you're skiing. There's so much beautiful scenery like the mountains and trees. However, if you see something ahead of you that looks kind of like a rock, just assume it's a rock. Tim Durtschi hit a snow-covered rock and went flying. He's okay, but this would definitely shake our skiing confidence the rest of the day.

Speaking of skiing, if you want to avoid problems, then following the skier directly ahead of you seems like a good idea. A bunch of friends at Crystal Mountain in Washington were skiing in a line, and each of them took a turn going over a frozen pond. But eventually, that frozen pond became an icy pothole. After that, it was one failure after another.
