Orphaned Wolf Pups Rescued During Wildfire 2:39
UPDATE: The five cubs will now be taken in by the Minnesota Zoo.
Firefighters were forced to rescue five orphaned wolf pups on Tuesday after a wildfire broke out near Funny River in Anchorage, Alaska. The five pups were abandoned by their parents, so they were taken in by the Alaska Zoo. The wolf pups suffered from dehydration and were injured by porcupine quills when they were found in a den by rescue crews. Alaska Zoo Executive Director Patrick Lampi joined RTM to give us an update on how they are adjusting to their new surroundings.
