Props To The Pilots In These Harrowing Helicopter Rescues 2:07
Two mountaineers found themselves in a difficult situation while 6,500 feet up the side of Rincón de Alano peak in Spain. The Spanish Civil Guard flew to the rescue. With no place to perch the helicopter, the pilot basically had to hug up against the steep slope while rescuers secured the mountaineers and got everybody on board to safety.
Our next video shows what that type of rescue might look like from a different point of view. This time, it was seven young people and a dog stuck on Peñalara, also in Spain, that needed help. Again, the Civil Guard executed a tricky helicopter rescue to get everyone out alive.
