Rescuers in Australia have their work cut out for them as they attempt to free a whale and her calf from a shark net. Crews from Sea World and the Department of Fisheries are teaming up to pull off the tricky mission, and after about an hour of work, they manage to untangle both whales. We're so happy to know the animals can now swim freely.
Speaking of rescues, when a manatee swam over a weir in Florida during high tide, it found itself trapped there once the water receded. So, a team of rescuers is relocating the large mammal back to the bay where it belongs. It's no easy task, but they're determined to get the job done!
