Imagine being a pregnant woman taking a trip on a cable car when it suddenly gets stuck mid-way through the trip. That was the reality not one, but three pregnant women faced in Ukraine. 74 other people were also trapped and waited for rescuers to arrive and save them from the freezing conditions.

Next, a mother and son in Italy were trapped in their home without power as all the doors and windows were blocked by snow. The only way for rescuers to get to them was with a helicopter. Fortunately, emergency workers did get to them in time.
