Although some would argue the road is a place for motor vehicles only, the world we live in requires much more than that. Living in England, the Jones family (Family ByCycle) makes it an effort to get out on the road to cycle. Tom and Katie have instilled this passion in their two daughters Rhoda and Ruth. Yes, it's adorable and that's definitely a factor in Rhoda's sudden rise to viral fame after she defied the haters on the road.

Rhoda, Ruth and dad Tom join our RightThisMinute hosts via Skype to tell us more about their family and their interest in cycling.

RTM Talks to Dad Behind 'Red Thumb Reminder' Campaign

The "Red Thumb Reminder" is described as an old-school solution to a new world problem. While it may sound simple and a little silly, it can work! RTM spoke to Steve Babcock who was inspired by his daughter's technique of tying a piece of yarn on her finger to remember something at school. He began painting his thumbnail red to remind him to put his phone down while driving. Guess what? It's worked. One nail salon owner even offered people a free gel red nail polish on your thumb as a way for her to contribute to this cause. We think nail salon owners everywhere should offer this service for a limited time and see if they can continue to push this movement forward. Check out Evolution Bureau's video. Would you try it? It's worth a shot. #RedThumbReminder View Now
