Strength comes in a number of different ways, for 27-year-old mother Courtney Waldon hers was found in the midst of pain and financial strife. In September 2016, Courtney's life took a drastic turn when a horrible campfire accident burned 40-percent of her body. She spent 51 days in the hospital and endured countless skin grafts until her release. Courtney and her husband separated two weeks later, leaving her and her 4-year-old daughter Caroline with no source of income.

Now, her community has rallied together to build the single mom a new home she can raise her daughter in. With the uncertainty if she will ever be able to work again, this mortgage-free home will bring her peace of mind. If you feel so lead to contribute to the community's efforts, you can donate to Courtney's GoFundMe.
