A drone capturing aerial footage of a neighborhood in Antioquia, Colombia helped police find someone they had been searching a long time for — an engineering student who had been kidnapped back in January.

The 27-year-old student was in his hotel room when he was confronted by armed men, taken to a secret location, and held for a ransom of about $12,000. When police finally found him, he was tied up and had signs of abuse. They apprehended three people associated with the kidnapping, and the student was able to speak to his family again for the first time.
