Every Pool Party Needs These DIY 'Noodlelights' 3:16
Now that swimsuit season's here, keep the party going after dark with these DIY floating lights. Ordinary candles make waxy messes and are no good around water, but did you know LED tea lights make for perfect pool luminaries? Just follow along with RightThisMinute's resident how-to guru Jessica Hord... and soon you'll be mass-producing these "noodle lights" by the dozen!
You'll Need:
— LED tea light
— Plastic wrap
— Small plastic hair band (Jessica used clear)
— Pool noodle
— Scissors
Instructions:
1. Wrap plastic wrap around the bottom of the LED light, secure with a hair band.
2. Cut a section of the pool noodle for the light to fit into, use scissors to trim away any uneven edges.
3. Push light into the center of the noodle, stretching the noodle as needed.
4. Trim excess plastic wrap. You're done!
