Handling venomous snakes for a living sounds as appealing to us as being a professional lava taster, but it's an important job. This reptile keeper from the Australian Reptile Park has to be very careful as he handles a venomous snake in order to collect the venom. This is the only way to get much-needed anti-venom, so we're glad somebody does it.
Speaking of scary animals, the "Rattlesnake Tarantula" is a nightmarish combo of things we don't like. Why is it called the rattlesnake tarantula, you ask? Well, because of the horrible noise it makes when it's trying to scare off predators. It definitely works because we'd run far away if we ever heard that sound.
