Otherwise Helpless Birds Find Refuge In Rescue 01:46
The bald eagle is a beautiful symbol of freedom which is why we should always aim to protect it, as there are so few remaining. While harvesting clams in Nova Scotia, Canada, Angela and James Corbett along with her brother Garnet found an eagle swimming in the water. The bird wasn't enjoying a refreshing dip, but instead simply trying to stay alive as the weight of the water crippled its ability to fly. The thoughtful boaters gather their coats to then reach down and bring the bird on board. The eagle was brought to Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and later released back into the wild two days later.
Animal rescues involving youngins are some of the most hopeful videos on the internet and who better to accomplish the job than Simon from the Wildlife Aid Foundation in the United Kingdom. Instead of receiving a call, as usual, this rescue rolled right up to the WAF facilities. After being on the road for several hours, a truck driver heard chirps coming from behind the cab. He knew he shouldn't reach for the nest without a plan and what better idea than visiting Simon. A nest of newborn robins was in need of some tender love and care!
