At first glance, it appears nobody's inside this burning Abingdon home, but a shocked neighbor quickly informs firefighters that the family pets are all trapped inside! Amid the smoke, ash and flames, rescuers charge into the crumbling house in a desperate, last-minute search for survivors. Even after they miraculously pull two weak dogs from the cinders, compassionate paramedics have an hour-long fight to revive the loved pets!

Days later, Roxy and Daisy are getting along wonderfully and have fully recovered from their close call. Our friends at PETA were so touched by the story that they planned a reunion between rescuers and the loveable dogs and filmed the heartwarming encounter.
