Take A Peek Inside A Shark Egg & Camouflaging Stargazer Fish In Action 1:51
Nature is a beautiful and sometimes weird thing, like this shark's egg sac! Matteo Sommer captured this close look at a two-month-old catshark in its sac at the Geno Aquarium in Italy. Another nickname for a sac is a mermaid’s purse, but we sure haven't seen Ariel swimming around with any of these!
Speaking of weird nature, check out the camouflaging power of a poisonous stargazer fish. Diving instructor Albert Casals Olmo captured the creature preparing to ambush its prey off the coast of Tossa De Mar, Spain. After it digs itself into the sand, you'd have to have really good eyes to see it!
