Nature is a beautiful and sometimes weird thing, like this shark's egg sac! Matteo Sommer captured this close look at a two-month-old catshark in its sac at the Geno Aquarium in Italy. Another nickname for a sac is a mermaid’s purse, but we sure haven't seen Ariel swimming around with any of these!

Speaking of weird nature, check out the camouflaging power of a poisonous stargazer fish. Diving instructor Albert Casals Olmo captured the creature preparing to ambush its prey off the coast of Tossa De Mar, Spain. After it digs itself into the sand, you'd have to have really good eyes to see it!

If it were us, we would have yelled "Crickey!" and ran in the other direction. While that croc was clearly in plain sight, Wildlife Protection Solutions challenges us to spot a crocodile fish camouflaged in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Kenya. A Shark’s Tail & Dolphins Can’t Wait To Play With People

A Shark’s Tail & Dolphins Can’t Wait To Play With People

This shark has a "tail" to tell. Or should we say, "show?" While it looks like the thresher shark's tail got caught on something until it stretched out too far, what you're looking at is actually a natural weapon. Thresher sharks use their tails to strike at their prey. We know that the shark wouldn't even need to use its tail on us, we'd be too stunned just looking at it. Then, when we can travel again, you can bet we're heading to Bimini in the Bahamas. Apparently, the dolphins there love swimming with the free divers! We can't imagine anything more fun than playing with dolphins in the ocean. You know, just as long as no thresher sharks show up. View Now
Shark Steals The Bait & Feeding Endangered Chick With Hand Puppet

Shark Steals The Bait & Feeding Endangered Chick With Hand Puppet

Jalil Najafov was diving off the coast of Guadalupe Island in Mexico when he captured stunning footage of a 13-foot shark stealing bait from a school of fish. The shark was so casual as it swooped in, took the food and disappeared into the depths of the ocean. Maybe it was hangry and that's why it didn't say hi! Over in the Philippines, an endangered Philippine Eagle chick was fed in an unusual and clever way. The folks at the Philippine Eagle Foundation don't want the babies to be used to a human presence, so they hand feed it using an eagle hand puppet. There are only about 400 pairs of Philippine Eagles left in the wild, so it's imperative they be raised to be successful. If you want to donate funds to help raise the chick, click here! View Now
