Imagine going from life as a boxing champion to being told you may never walk again. That's what happened to Stephen McCoy after he miraculously survived a devastating plane crash in 1989. The Kegworth Air Disaster near Heathrow Airport killed 47 and injured 74, BBC News reports, and McCoy's injuries were so severe that he didn't regain consciousness for a year and a half. When he awoke, he was left brain damaged and paralyzed, but now, 30 years later, McCoy is able to walk with the assistance of a special machine. It's an amazing moment sure to make you appreciate being able to walk normally without medical issues!
