Vega the turkey vulture came to the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center as a gunshot wound victim, however, the staff were unable to identify the bird's gender. In order to properly get to know their new addition, the staff had genetic testing done to identify Vega's gender — and, of course, a celebration was in order!
