OK, this is too many accomplishments in one day! We're totally in awe and impressed by 28-year-old Ashley Goette. Not only did she give birth to a healthy baby boy which is tough enough, she saved her husband's life, all in the same day. While they were sleeping, 28-year-old Andrew suddenly went into cardiac arrest. A 911 dispatcher coached Ashley through CPR before paramedics arrived and took everyone to the hospital, according to ABC News. After waking up from a coma, Andrew watched Ashley deliver their baby Lennon on FaceTime. Now, the entire family is happy and recovering!

Hospital Hosts Free Baby Shower For Deserving Moms

While it may seem like a normal thing to have a baby shower, it's often a luxury for many soon-to-be moms. To provide some relief to expectant mothers and give them a chance to celebrate, the St. Bernard Hospital in Chicago decided to throw a massive baby shower. More than 100 deserving women from a high-poverty neighborhood showed up, and all received gifts to take home. Evelyn Jones is the vice president of Nursing Services at the hospital and devised the idea last year, according to ABC News. She spent about $1000 of her own money this year, but it's definitely worth it to provide attendees with the only chance they may have to have a baby shower. via Good Morning America View Now

Woman Surprises Retired Teacher With Life-Saving Gift

Woman Surprises Retired Teacher With Life-Saving Gift

Teachers and students can have a special relationship that lasts beyond the classroom. Even teachers you've never personally had in school can have an impact! That's especially true in this touching story about a random and very important act of kindness. When teacher Kathy Hubler Young put the word out about retired Cedar Cliff High School teacher George Labecki's urgent need for a new kidney, it got the attention of her former elementary school student Lindsay Arnold Wenrich. Wenrich felt compelled to help, even though she didn't personally know Mr. Labecki. He was quite a popular teacher at school, and Wenrich remembered him, so she decided to see if she was a match to donate a kidney. She was and decided to surprise Labecki dressed up as a Penn State Nittany Lion (even though she's a die-hard Ohio State University fan!). The surgery is scheduled for Oct. 26, according to Good Morning America. In the meantime, the pair have become instant friends forever. Tearful moment captured on video as a retired teacher learned he'd be receiving a life-saving gift from his former student! https://t.co/daxzYuYRS0 pic.twitter.com/vIIYjnEnN7 — Good Morning America (@GMA) October 16, 2018 View Now
