In Tatarstan, a mother was walking with her son when he suddenly fell down a sewer hole. Luckily he didn't fall down very far, so his mother and a passerby were able to get him out of there before too long.

Over in Russia, there was another startling incident. While a young couple were on the sidewalk, a car lost control and rammed into them. The impact sent the couple flying over a fence, but thankfully they survived the accident.
