The ocean is a mysterious place, filled with many creatures and species still undiscovered by the human race. This incredible footage shows the second-only filming of a giant squid worldwide, and the first-ever sighting in U.S. waters caught on tape. If that weren't mindblowing enough, the crew that captured the footage nearly lost it after a bolt of lightning struck one of their ship's radio antennas. Recently, a powerful tornado tore through an area in the Philippines. The storm caused a power outage, as well as extensive damages to houses and businesses.
Over in Minnesota, another tornado ripped through the area and caused lots of destruction. Houses were damaged and trees were torn up from the ground, but no injuries were reported.

A bystander captured the moment a car meet in the UK took a turn for the worse. At the end of the event, crowds gathered to watch the cars drive off. That's when two cars collided, sending them both into the crowds and causing injury to 17 people. The investigation is ongoing.

The Windows to the Deep 2019 expedition team was searching the depths of the ocean for a potential shipwreck target, when they instead encountered a large group of sharks feasting on a swordfish. It was a pretty incredible sight for these researches to come across, but you'll have to see what happens toward the end of the video (around 1:27) to truly understand what makes this video so crazy awesome.

A Florida man was capturing drone footage of a storm when a lightning bolt struck the forest. The lightning set part of the forest ablaze, so the man called the fire department. Firefighters were able to put out the flames before they spread too far.

There was a terrifying accident in India when a car with a family inside of it was driving down a flooded street. Suddenly, the rushing water made the car topple over and land upside-down with the family trapped inside. People nearby rushed to get the family out, and thankfully no one was harmed.

Artist Nicholas Romeril got the amazing opportunity to travel across the Antarctic Peninsula on a military ship. Along the journey, Nicholas painted some of the beautiful icy landscapes and wildlife that he saw. It must've been an incredible experience! We'll happily just live vicariously through him so we can admire it all without having to endure those arctic temperatures ourselves.

The Hunlen Falls in Canada looks absolutely breathtaking to visit, but most of us wouldn't dare to slackline there! The great heights aren't stopping these daredevils, though. They're making the most of their trip by slacklining in front of the beautiful waterfall. It looked like they had an incredibly fun experience at the scenic spot.
