Military homecomings are exciting enough, but when they're a surprise, they seem to have a little extra magic. One soldier came home and surprised her sister while she was at school, and got a priceless reaction as a reward. Then a dad came to surprise his son at football practice, but had to wait until the play was over until his son realized who was waiting for him. View Now

A man in Australia was threatening to bomb a building, a claim that police take very seriously. The police quickly cornered the man, who tried to escape. He was then forcefully subdued and arrested.
Another forceful subduing that occurred in Russia was not for such heroic reasons. For reasons still unknown, a driver, parked, got out of his car, grabbed a pedestrian, and threw him off a bridge. The victim is in the hospital, and the perpetrator is still at large. View Now

But the University of Connecticut student, who was admittedly drunk at the time of the incident that went super viral, went about it the wrong way, berating UConn's dining hall employees.

Next, this caramel and chocolate apple bar will be the talk of the town. Fill a muffin tin with toppings like nuts, marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, toffee pieces, tiny chocolate chips, and brown sugar.
FOR TISSUE PAPER PUMPKIN FAVORS:
You'll Need:
-- Orange Tissue Paper (1 Sheet Makes 1 Pumpkin)
-- Green Tape (Electric, Painter's, Floral, etc.)
-- Assorted Candy
-- Something to Use for Tracing a Large Circle (At Least 9 Inches Across)
-- Scissors
-- Pencil/Pen/Etc.
Instructions:
1. Stack as many pieces of tissue paper together that you can successfully cut at one time and trace your circle.
2. Cut the circle out of the stack.
3. Put a tiny handful of candy in the center of the circle and gently pull all the edges up around the candy.
4. When all the edges are in your hand, twist until closed.
5. Then wrap your green tape around the twisted edges. You're done!
FOR CANDY APPLE BAR:
You'll Need:
-- Apples
-- Lemon-Lime Soda
-- Candy Sticks
-- Muffin Tin
-- Baking Cups
-- Liquid Toppings (I used store-bought ice cream toppings -- Hot Fudge and Salted Caramel.)
-- Hard Toppings (I had a six-cup tin, so I chose six toppings; mini chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, toffee bits, graham cracker crumbs, chopped peanuts, and a cinnamon & dark brown sugar mixture.)
Instructions:
1. Quarter apples and soak them in a bowl of lemon-lime soda for at least 5 minutes.
2. Poke candy sticks into the bottom of apples.
3. Put baking cups into muffin tin and pour in your toppings.
4. Put apples, liquid toppings, and hard toppings out for display. You're done!

Not satisfied with his cartoonish reaction, the banana-slinger followed the other driver, and when they came to a stop, he exited his vehicle, presumably to have more than just a friendly chat. The car that got banana'd drove off, only to be followed once more. View Now
